Geocache Description:

This Geocache was placed as part of a multinational partnership.

Everything started arount the beggining of 2016. That's a fun story to be told.

Travelnbhappy21, StSquirrel and John Galt? decided to visit Brazil and go for the APE cache. However, besides that, they also wanted to take the chance to go for the cache fartest from home.

So, they contacted us, Stylopor Team, and we tried to be as helpful and welcoming as possible. Time passed and on September 11th, 2016, they visited us in Porto Alegre, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state of Brazil. We enjoyed a nice day together, when we were able to find the handful of caches available in Porto Alegre. They were also able to get some FTFs!

Time passed again, and we had the chance to also visit them, where we spent three days visiting the amazing State Parks of Pennsylvania, the game lands, windmill farms and gorgeous lakes, boulder fields, Jim Thorpe grave... Well, so much adventure in so little time.

This was a lifechanging experience for us, we also learned that, while traveling, you enjoy better visiting the smaller, more authentical places.

Our stay was completed with them helping us to hide our first geocache in Pennsylvania!

Parking Coordinates listed.

This is a part of the park which does not get used as much as the other side.

Geodogs may really enjoy cooling off in several creeks along the way on those hot days. There are great lake views along the trail.

Please return it as found and hidden from muggle eyes.

Geodogs are allowed in Frances Slocum Park as long as they are on a leash.

Tick spray is suggested.

Frances Slocum State Park consists of 1,035 acres in northeastern Pennsylvania’s Luzerne County. The horseshoe shaped, 165-acre lake is popular for boating and fishing, and is a home to many species of birds, fish, and wildlife. The many hiking and mountain biking trails and the large day use area attract visitors to picnic and explore the forests.

The Park Manager, park ranger and staff have been extremely helpful and we wish to extend sincere appreciation to all of them.

Geocache hide and maintained with the kind help of travelnbhappy21!

There are prizes for the FTF and STF! Maconaquah Trail to Buck Trail
