My parents ( Strandlopers W&E ) love geocaching and they have travelled far and wide across the globe to search, explore and discover many new mind-boggling caches. On their geocaching journey, they have met many wonderful people and formed life-long friendships. This has enriched their lives with adventure and life after retirement has been so much more enjoyable and purposeful. That is why we thought it fitting to dedicate this cache to her on a very special birthday.
Please allow me to tell you a little bit more about our wonderful mother: she is a generous, kind, caring, creative, honest, understanding, patient, humble, quiet, yet strong person you can rely on and who is always there for you when you need her. She has spent many late nights with us, making clothes, baking or completing projects around the kitchen table whilst chatting and drinking many cups of tea! She has always been there for us, through the good times and the bad… she is remarkable.
We are so privileged and proud to call her our mother and we pray that she will be here for her grandchildren and us, for many years to come, so we may all continue to learn from her wisdom and kindness.

This spot has been chosen for its tranquil setting, close to the water of the Marina Martinique in Astonbay. This little town has been our holiday spot for the past 34 years and we all have fond memories of fantastic family times.
