Important note for hikers: If you are hiking, do not take the nearby bike trail (Unemployment Line) as it is a bike only trail. Use this coordinates to enter the forest instead: N 48° 42.277′ W 122° 24.354′.
There are many bike only and one-way trails on Galbraith mountain, so if you are hiking, pay attention to the sign before you enter the trails. Always watch out for bikers and give them plenty of room to pass.
Fortunately, I have a job, but this cache was placed near the end of unemployment.
The cache is located near the end of bike only trail called "Unemployment Line (U-Line)". I used to ride this trail, but after having a hip replacement surgery, I decided to stick with easy trails and logging road. The Unemployment Line is my curious-handsome-muggle-husband's favorite trail, so I get to watch him flying by just 10 feet away from the cache area from time to time.
The best way (and the fastest way) to get to the cache is to start from the south parking access (N 48° 41.958 W 122° 25.540). From there, go up Galbraith Lane and through the yellow gate. The map is very helpful at this point. The Galbraith Mountain map can be found here.
The area can be overgrown, depends on the season. Sit down and enjoy the view nearby after you find the cache. The walking time from the parking to the cache is about 1 hour.
