On Galbraith Mountain, you will find many mountain bikers, hikers, numerous world class mountain biking trails, viewpoints, colored rocks, emergency stations, a cabin, wild animals such as cougars, porcupines, and occasionally, bears! But, have you heard of a gazebo at Galbraith? I've been hearing about it, and I knew the general area, but I didn't know the exact spot. Today, I decided to go search for it, and I was determined to find it.
I left home shortly after lunch. My doctor has told me I need to eat healthier, so I ate salad for lunch. Well, 15 minutes after I started to hike up, I realized the fact that trying to become a vegetarian for a day was a big missed steak. My pants were falling down because I was huangry and I also forgot to wear my belt. I tried to make myself a belt made out of a branch, but then, I realized it would be a waist of time.
I got to the general area and started my search. I soon found the construction site and the gazebo (with a view) in progress!
Since it was still in construction, I decided not to place a cache at the gazebo. But here is the coordinates if you want to check it out. You really should because it gazeblew my mind when I found it!: N 48° 41.986 W 122° 23.944

I have been to this area many times in the past, so I had an idea of where to place a cache, and it was only about 250 feet from the gazebo. This is an amazing place to enjoy the view and eat a real lunch; not salad. Whoops, I almost forgot to mention the bike trail 10 feet south of the viewpoint. This trail is called "Whoopsie Woodle". It is a single-track trail and is primarily used for biking, but many joggers also use it for training.
This was my theatrical performance on puns. A play on words. Considering English is my second language, I think I did okay, and I feel punstoppable (I am so sorry).
The best way (and the fastest way) to get to the cache is to start from the south parking access (N 48° 41.958 W 122° 25.540). From there, go up Galbraith Lane and through the yellow gate. The map is very helpful at this point. The Galbraith Mountain map can be found here.
There are many bike-only and one-way trails on Galbraith mountain, so if you are hiking, pay attention to the sign before you enter the trails. Always watch out for bikers and give them plenty of room to pass.
A view from the cache area.
Congratulations to MulderClan! for FTF! I am so glad you enjoyed the view!
