Geocache Description:



This is the seventh in a series of midweek regular meets in the centre of Leeds. Matthewgibbs, Sam539 and I have decided to try and get a regular event off the ground. This is an informal get together of geocachers to chat about all things caching and not, and the third in the series that I have hosted. The observant among you will notice this is a week earlier than usual. This is due to Piratemania and the Yorkshire Mega and we're just not around the last week of the month.

The event will be at Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen 1-1A Cross Belgrave St, Leeds LS2 8JP from 18:30 to 20:30, but I'm sure a few people will stay longer than that. We're a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven't been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I'll look out for you. Hopefully we'll be obvious to find.

How to get there:

By train - Leeds railway station is about a 15 minute walk from the venue, when using the main entrance.

By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 10 minute walk away. Many busses also stop nearby on New Briggate and the Headrow all of which are a short walk from the venue.

By car - There are a number of streets within 5 or 10 minutes walk of the venue to the north with free parking after 18:00.The closest multi storey is probably Trafalgar Street and is 5 minute walk away.

The venue offers food (served until 22:00) and drink, including beers on tap. The food is awesome (in my opinion) and the menu can be found here for dough boys and patty smith. (visit link) The venue does have a roof top beer garden, however this area cannot be booked in advance. We can always migrate there if the weather is nice and it is not full.
