We'd like to welcome you to the Jordan Lake Educational State Forest in Chapel Hill, NC for the 13th Annual NCGO Fall Fling on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Out of state cachers, new cachers, old hands, and even the curious are welcome to attend!!

11 a.m. Park officially opens
11 a.m. Registration begins
11:15-12:30: Open to all: Pumpkin decorating and carving (kids carving with parent permission and supervision)
12:00-12:30: How to write an Earthcache page. (It is Earthcache weekend after all.)
1-2 p.m. Lunch:
- Chick-n-Que
- Grilled Brats n Hot Dogs
- Roasted Corn and Black Bean Salad
- Redskin Potato Salad
- Cole Slaw
- Chopped Vegetable Salad
- Snacks and Sweets
- Soft Drinks and Water
2:15 p.m. Group photo
2:30 p.m. Geocaching games
Camping
Jordan Lake Educational State Forest has no tent or RV camping. If you want to camp, you can reserve a site at nearby Jordan Lake State Park.
This event will be a great chance for North Carolina geocachers and our neighbors to spend a little time in a less hectic setting just getting to know each other while enjoying Fall Fling's 4F's: Food, Finds, Friends, and Fellowship which result in the all important 5th F -FUN!
