July 4, 2018 I gathered with some friends at the same spot we've been gathering for many years to celebrate the nation's Independence Day with good food, friendship, and the community fireworks show. This year, we still met and had good food and a good time, but the weather didn't cooperate. I had brought some cache containers of various sizes to see if I could place a hide out here. Ammo can? No. Film canister? No. Nothing suitable for those. But I did find a perfect spot for this other size. And, whether the sun is shining or not, there always seems to be "rain" at this location. If you come out to find this cache on its birthday, you'll probably find me and my friends here again.
Sometimes this place will be really busy, and sometimes not all. There are plenty of parking spots, but getting one depends on seasonal activities. This Youth Sports Complex is open Sunday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Friday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 12 a.m.
The cache is the same color as its surroundings. You might want to use tweezers to retrieve the log.
