This is a small plastic pop and lock cache dedicated to my cat Nathan. Oatka Park is one of my favorite parks in the area and just so happens to be the first place I ever gecoached. This is my first ever cache.
Nathan was a gentle soul in the body of a tuxedo-ed cat. I was blessed with him in my life from 2005 - 2017. In those years, he taught me many lessons and made me laugh so hard. Nathan loved his cat brothers, any kind of fish he could get his paws on, and toy mice. Towards the end of his life, he defied veterinarians and battled saddle thrombus, one of the most devastating illnesses a cat can be afflicted with. In his fight, I was reminded of my own fight. Although his time on Earth was limited, I carry Nathan's spirit with me today and I face my fears, no matter the obstacle. That was Nathan's gift to me.
This is my gift to him: Nathan's Cache.
Big enough for small goodies. I have included: a FTF wooden coin for the First to Find, two mini versions of his cat brothers (Conor and Dylan), a recently snagged TB of mine from the Ithaca area, and most importantly, a photo of Nathan to make you smile.
That's his gift to YOU.
