Episode 19 Review:
- "The hunt was not as daunting as the map makes it out to be. This series is an interesting use of the 'stuff' forgotten in the forest." - marvin_gardens
- " As usual, the Autobot caches were well laid out and had clear instructions, and everything went very smoothly..." - lostinthegarden
A great battle was fought here and many Autobot Transformers fell by the hands of the Decepticons.
During the battle, an Energon cube was lost, which you must find and sign.
To find the location of the lost Energon cube (container), you must navigate to the following coordinates (after solving the riddles):
N 45° 15.9(A-2)(B+E-1)' W 075° 49.0(C)(D+F+1)'
Note: The brackets do NOT mean multiplication, each bracket resolves to a single digit.
[FIELD PUZZLE]
You must navigate to the 5 stages and observe your surroundings. The deceased Autobots are located at Stage 5 (which is also the posted coordinates of this cache page (N45° 16.063' W075° 49.143'). It is recommended to find each stage in order. There is also a picture of the suggested route to take below.
At stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, observe your surroundings. What you find there will be associated with a number that you will need in order to find the lost Energon cube. The "corresponding number" and coordinates to visit are listed below.
The corresponding number for each "object" that is found at the stages:
- 1 = Autobot perimeter defense material
- 2 = A baby Autobot (hint: it should have 2 wheels but one is missing)
- 3 = An Autobot defense lookout tower
- 4 = Car seat
- 5 = Ventilation pipe leading to a hidden underground Autobot base
Destinations to "Observe" at:
- A = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 16.143' W 075° 49.420' (corresponds to Stage 1)
- B = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 16.115' W 075° 49.307' (corresponds to Stage 2)
- C = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 16.036' W 075° 49.194' (corresponds to Stage 3A [Code: S3]) or N 45° 16.033' W 075° 49.193' (corresponds to Stage 3B [Code: V3]) (Note: The 'same' object [same type] is at each of these locations, so just take the single value of the corresponding object, and do not add them up or anything to come up with a calculated value for C. There is a lot of growth in here, that's why I have 2 different nearby stages to help you find this same 'object')
- D = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 16.041' W 075° 49.173' (corresponds to Stage 4 - To get to Stage 4 from Stage 3, take the Rideau trail and enter the field around N 45° 16.015' W 75° 49.177', there is a tiny trail through the field to reduce the amount of bushwhacking required. You also do not need to leave the tiny trail to spot the 'object' in question - once you see it, it should be obvious and fit one of the descriptions above. Hint: Not too far away from this is a car door... but this is not the object in question)
From Stage 4, follow the small trail until you get to Stage 5. At the location of the deceased Autobots (Stage 5 - N 45° 16.063' W 075° 49.143'), solve the following:
- E = E=1 if there are 2 Autobots, E=2 if there are 3 Autobots, E=3 if there are 4 Autobots, E=4 if there are 5 Autobots or more (Note: I am talking about 'vehicles', and not Autobot symbols or something else... Also they don't have to be 'complete'... ex: if you see the 'front' of a vehicle here, and a different 'front' over there, then that counts as 2 vehicles)
- F = F=1 if there are more trucks than cars, F=2 if there are more cars than trucks, F=3 if there are the same number as cars are there are trucks
Suggested path to take:

Note: If you are "bad" and receive the final coordinates from someone else, please at least visit Stage 5 which has the Deceased Autobots - since this is supposed to be the 'fun' part of this series.
Be sure to private message me if you know of any other undiscovered Autobot burial grounds (old cars/trucks/motorcycles/skidoos/boats or random scraps of metal) in, or near, Ottawa ;) - and don't forget to 'favorite' these if you are enjoying the series.
