This cache was placed in honor of the dedicated volunteer CITO geocachers who helped to place new blue trail blaze markers along the Don Harrison Community Trail in July of 2018.
You are seeking an ammo can hidden just off the, you guessed it, blue-blazed Don Harrison Community Trail (DHCT). The Don Harrison Community Trail (DHCT) is a cross-Murrysville trail, running for approximately 5-1/2 miles. The DHCT starts in Murrysville's Townsend Park, and passes through three Westmoreland Conservancy nature reserves (Potter's Corner, the King Nature Reserve, and the Caywood Nature Reserve), and Murrysville Community Park before it terminates at the Westmoreland Conservancy's Walter Nature Reserve.
The cache is placed with permission of the Westmoreland Conservancy. The parking coordinates are for the parking lot for the Caywood Nature Reserve. Follow the trail to the cache.. no need to use Beulah Lane or go on to private property. Hope you enjoy! Please rehide well after finding to keep it from getting muggled.
