Rosebud Cottage is sometimes referred to as Rosebud Apiary. There were bee hives in the orchard and the apples and honey were stored in a nearby shed
The holding name is Rosebud Apiary, where a family lived here and developed honey, dairy and fruit enterprises.
The dairy room is the slab house and the smallest building only 4m long in directly in front of you. Behind it and a bit to the left is the Apiary where the honey was developed. A kitchen cottage was built beside Rosebud and a slab dairy house and slab shelter completed the outbuildings. The honey room’ or Apiary was established in the second shelter, now called Bell's Cottage, and it was from the honey enterprise that the home and business was named Rosebud Apiary.
The owners are well aware of the cache and very friendly,so give them a wave if you spot them. Its private property ,so no need to enter the site.Stealth is required and please rehide the cache exactly how you found it.Enjoy the history.
