After consumming hot dogs and chippies and cookies and Canada Day cake at Islandfinder's Canada Day Weinie Roast we KNEW a small walk was in order. There were a few interesting, new-to-me spots on the bike map worth checking so off we went to the Highlands to see what we could see.
What we found was quite a good view and an excellent rest spot to watch ravens swoop or vultures buzz by. Quite the mountain bike trail building evident here as we hiked up from the Kinghorn cabin area.
It was the perfect little hike for a late afternoon trundle. Just watch for bikers flying past.
