The geocache is located on the Knavesmire, York Citys famous horse racetrack.
The cache is a traditional cache, 350ml, which will fit in travel bugs as a well a log book and pen.
To find the cache go up Tadcaster Road, heading out of York, until you reach a large white hotel on your left. Just before the hotel enter a gate to your left which takes you onto the Knavesmire . Follow the wall, keeping it to your right hand side and walk approximately 50m. You will spot a gate in the wall on the right. Go to the wall but do not enter the gate. About five meters to the left of the gate you will see a big tree covered in ivy. The cache is not in the hotel grounds.
