This cache is one in a series of urban caches in memory of my sister, who had an all too short time on this earth with us. Raised in Wayne NJ, she moved out to north west NJ, a few miles from here, after she got married. Raised her family out here, but did lots of traveling for work. Great Mom, loving wife, successful career professional - my sister was one that managed to have it all.
Unfortunately, she did not leave time for exercise, or find an activity she was passionate about. This took a toll on her heart. Exercise is essential for getting or staying healthy. Whether weekly or daily, all exercise helps. Urban geocaching runs are an excellent way to get a little exercise and breakup the monotony of the workday. Getting out to walk by yourself or with friends is wonderful exercise and geocaching makes it more interesting, fun and educational.
This cache is placed at the entrance to a shopping center where she would get her favorite pizza, as odd as it was: Gluten free crust, grilled salmon and arugula with olive oi.
Please be safe! Park in the shopping center of the side street down the block. I've marked it not 24/7, as it should only be approached in daylight.
You'll be right near both Round Valley and Spruce Run recreational areas - both great spots for a day out.
