Geocache Description:


Paddy loved his pines! But not only the Radiata variety that are abundant in the plantations around here, he especially loved the Casuarina Pines. Sadly, around this area, most of the giant Casuarinas have died off, and have either fallen over, or can be seen as giant skeletons. However, at this location, there are still a few living giant Casuarinas! Add those to the lovely Paddys river here, and you have a beautiful location. Well worth a visit! - If it weren't for the nearby road, this would be a very peaceful spot. Talking of the nearby road - it is not recommended that you come from there! I would recommend coming from the fire trails on the other side of the river!
