Wellington has a number of scenic side and back roads. This regular sized geocache highlights one of them.
This is one in a series of geocaches highlighting the beautiful landscapes surrounding Wellington. Remember to always take care off road. This little spot is a really pleasant place to stop. I followed a track in my car along the drainage gully to the running creek where the basalt rock (?) fascinated me and I wished I could camp here overnight. Obviously it was a place worth sharing with others, so I hid a cache here. Enjoy the wildlife, birdlife, flora and peaceful running waters. You're welcome.
