RO: Tunelul pietonal ce face legatura intre Bulevardul Republicii si Strada Nera a fost construit in perioada comunismului. Timp de mai multi ani a fost inchis si lasat in paragina. Abia in 2016 cand pasajul Jiul de langa a fost inchis pentru constructii, tunelul a fost redeschis pietonilor din nou.
