A further cache beside the Trans Pennine Trail, which will hopefully help encourage the odd walk or ride in the area.....
This part of the pathway allows cyclists (and pedestrians), to travel between the riverside and the old railway line embankment, via a gentle incline.
Much of the section is encompassed by a leafy canopy in the summer months, providing a welcome bit of shade during the heatwave affecting Britain earlier in the summer. A previous walk along the path clearly showed the light at the end of the tunnel.....
