Geocache Description:

On June 20, 2009 I logged my first geocache find.

Just south of Herbine's Dam is Herbine's Bridge. This unique bridge structure is one of three in the area featuring the circular openings through the body of the bridge known as "pierced spandrels". This bridge has multiple spans, a smaller version of the Peacock's Lock Viaduct having 9 semi arch spans over the Schuykill River just south of this location.

I never get tired of passing under this bridge always remembering this is where geocaching started for me, with my first cache find GC191MF by werewolf44, Bridge of Sighs and my second find, just down the road, GC7PH75 at Dam 18 and Lock 38, Ducan's Lock, also hidden by werewolf44 and is still active.

Posted Coords bring you to the Bridge where you will need to gather information to complete a field puzzle to find the final location. PLEASE PARK SAFELY OFF THE ROAD ON THE PULLOFF...NOT ON THE GRASS BETWEEN THE DRIVEWAY AND THE BRIDGE!!!!!!!!!!
