Geocache Description:

“I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it”

                                       – quote from As You Like It , Act 2, Scene 4

Built in 1835 and located close to Fort Wellington, the house has strong military ties. At some point the basement was set up with bunks where solders were billeted. Far more luxurious quarters than those many of Elizabeth I or Henry VIII's soldiers had! This cache is part of a series of 'Tudor Times' caches. Each is related to Tudor, Elizabethan or Shakespeare times.
