Geocache Description:


This cache has been placed for the CARMH 9 event with the intention that it not be located prior to 7 PM, Friday, Aug. 17th. The caches for the CARMH 9 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start

 



The site is currently under consideration as a Provincial Historic Resource and is thought to be the oldest industrial site in Alberta.  The “frozen in time” condition of the facilities represents the operation as it was in 2010


This cache is located just outside the historical site, no need to go any further
