In un tempo molto molto lontano a San Marino gli uomini e i folletti vivevano in armonia fra loro. Erano tempi di pace, c’era sempre aiuto reciproco nonostante le differenze e la natura sfamava benevola tutti senza nessuna esclusione.
Un giorno però, grazie al suo esercito di mercenari, prese il potere del governo del regno degli uomini un certo Bad Male. La popolazione di San Marino dovette così forzatamente eseguire tutti i suoi ordini, pena la morte e proprio uno dei suoi primi decreti fu che tutti i folletti dovessero essere resi schiavi e messi al suo servizio.
Da allora il re dei folletti impose a tutto il suo popolo di non aver mai più nessun contatto con gli uomini, avrebbero infatti vissuto tutti in boschi e radure sperdute, isolati per sempre dagli umani.
Si narra però che qualche uomo in un particolare punto del bosco abbia avuto un incontro con dei folletti. Se dovesse capitare anche a voi di trovare una loro abitazione dovrete comportarvi in questo modo: abbiate rispetto della natura che vi circonda e provate a bussare alla loro porta, ma sappiate che i folletti vi apriranno solo se siete puri di cuore.
Once upon a time in San Marino, men and elves lived toghether in harmony with each other. It was a times of peace, everybody helped each other despite the differences and nature fed everyone benevolently without excluding anyone.
One day, however, thanks to his army of mercenary army, a certain Bad Male took over the government of the men kingdom. The population of San Marino was forced to followall his orders, under penalty of death and one of its first decrees was that all the elves should be made slaves and put at his service.
Since then the king of the elves forbid his people to contact me again, they would have lived in the woods and distant meadows, isolated forever from humans.
the legend said, however, that some men in a particular forest could meet elves. If you happen to you to find their home, you are supposed to behave in this fashion: respect nature around you and knock knok on their door, but beware :elves will open only if you are true at heart.
