Hele Bay is a small, quiet village to the east of Ilfracombe and is well known locally for its lovely little cove with a sand and shale beach and lots of rock pools formimg at low tide. It really is a beautiful place. The South West Coast Path runs through it.
For a short time we lived in an apartment overlooking the beach here at Hele Bay, and it has since held a very special place in my heart. It has to be recognised with a cache.
There is plenty of parking within easy walking distance and a good, friendly pub close by.
The cache is a small clip-top box containing a log book and a few swaps.
