Geocache Description:


I was walking along the edge of the Queanbeyan river when I came across this barrier. Very strange I thought to myself - why was it built? It won't stop kids running to the river, and it certainly doesn't stop the river rising over the banks! Part of the barrier has been crushed by highwater flotsam. Oh well, I'm sure it was local council money well spent! - Let me know if you know why they built this!
