Being able to deceive is an important trait to have in the circus. You want your audience to say "How did they do that?" and walk away entertained and puzzled. Creating wonder and amazement in all ages is a vital part of the circus. This is also a great skill to have in geocaching - whether hiding something in plain sight or searching in a subtle way (tying your flip flops surreptitiously).
This cache can be found after a short trail walk, just before the open area. Watch for something watching you.
This cache qualifies for the 2018 Battle Ground Geocoin Challenge! This year our theme is the circus - in each cache you will find a code word for a circus skill - note this on your registration card.
The rules for the challenge:
- The Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to modify the rules at any time and for any reason.
- There is a limit of one Geocoin per geocaching family.
- The standard rules and disclaimers that apply to all geocaches apply to this challenge.
- You must find and log on geocaching.com and enter on your registration card a minimum of 6 of the 8 qualifying geocaches plus 2 more geocaches of your choice from the Battle Ground area. We are looking for the brilliant picture included with each cache hide. The list of 8 qualifying caches will be in a file on each of the cache pages and on the event page GC77N11. The Battle Ground area is defined as between NE 119th St to the South, NE 319th St to the North, NE 232nd Ave to the East and NE 72nd Ave to the West.
- Your 8 caches have to be found within 30 days of requesting your Geocoin from the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce.
- To claim your Geocoin, turn in your completed registration card to the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce information booth (waypoint on the event cache page) on Saturday July 21st. After the Harvest Days event, the Geocoin can be picked up at the Battle Ground Best Western at 1419 W Main St any hour of the day.
