HOURS:
Summer (mid-May through September): Open daily 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Fall/Winter (October through mid-May): Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Come visit one of the few prison museums in the Western United States, including one of only two gas chambers on exhibit. There is no admission charge to view the outside exhibits, including the gas chamber. There is an entrance fee to go inside the cell house where you will find many more exhibits and a gift shop with inmate made items.
Placed with permission on the grounds of the Museum of Colorado Prisons. Available only during business hours. If you see any of the museum staff be sure to thank them for allowing a geocache on the premises.
Cache is a small magnetic container with room for a few small trade items.
