DO NOT ACCESS FROM THE HIGHWAY!
This is a small easy to access cache. A quick park and grab on a dead end street. A great cache for those with kiddos, or those in a wheelchair as it's accessible from the pavement. Be sure to bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.
Prior to construction of highway 270 West Watson Road connected the Louis Rott home (near South County Tech High) to the Rott School located at the corner of Rott and West Watson. The Rotts were a prominent German family who came to America in 1842 and were known for not only being founders of the area, but for serving their community in a wide variety of ways.
