Geocache Description:

Daniel&Amy present our very first hide: The Rhyming Quartet! This four-stage mini-multi is contained to the Brylee Reserve Wetlands area which means you’ll be able to see the location of the next stage from whatever stage you’re at! At each stage, you’ll find a container and in each container, you’ll find a clue that will lead you to the next waypoint.

We think this cache is perfect for children, families, those new to caching, and even caching experts, however, if you are with kids please keep a close eye on them as the stages are located around open water.

Being our first hide, we’d love your feedback and advice so please leave any comments in our log or feel free to privately message us!

At the time of hiding our cache contained the following: a logbook, pencil, sharpener, wooden FTF coin, a few international coins, and a geo-caching sticking plaster. If you take something, please leave something!

The Brylee Reserve is family friendly area (just like the cache!) which features a playground, tennis courts, plenty of field space, and a newly installed wetlands area where you’re sure to spot swallows, herons, shags, ducks, pukekos, and maybe a few sneaky cats. Please take out whatever you bring in, and maybe even trash that you didn’t, to help keep this area beautiful.

Completed in mid-2017, the Brylee Reserve Wetland is one of the newest additions to the Conifer Grove landscape. The 10,000 square metre wetland treats over 30 hectares of urban catchment, including a portion of the Southern Motorway which previously discharged untreated contaminants to the Pahurehure Inlet in the Manukau Harbour.
