This is my first “Augmented Reality” cache in and around the Tarran Way Industrial Estate on Wirral. The cache is not at the listed co-ordinates. You will need to explore the estate and find the memorial to “Rex, faithful friend and servant”. It is somewhere in the shaded area on the map shown below.

This cache is part of an experiment that allows the use of Augmented Reality (AR) apps to find the cache. This Geocache can only be found by playing the experience in Metaverse which can be downloaded via the link on the cache page into Metaverse. It won’t open on a PC as the link is to a ‘group’ with the experience.
The proximity on the AR cartridge is set automatically at 30m radius. Outside this range the experience in Metaverse will be shown, but is greyed out and can not be opened. Within proximity, the experience can be opened and you will need to answer a question. A correct answer will lead you to the cache.
