The cache is not in the middle of the busy intersection. THAT IS NOT WHERE YOU PARK. Find the container's coordinates by solving the puzzle below.
In my search for the Hidden Creatures, I became L.O.S.T. in Colorado in Rocky Mountain National Park. While hiking from Bear Lake to Bierstadt Lake, we found a rock that looked at lot like a turtle. Its picture is the background picture for this cache. And for a virtual cache there (GCC9A0), part of the fun was to edit your picture of the sign to be funny. My sign says "L.O.S.T. in Colorado". I include it in the gallery.
To find the location of this cache, determine the whole number DEGREES of the latitude and longitude of where I found the rocky turtle in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are many ways to figure this out. You will have two whole numbers.
To get LAT (the last three digits of the container's latitude), add the latitude degrees to 708.
To get LONG (the last three digits of the container's longitude), subtract the longitude degrees from 109. You will need at least one zero in front to make it 3 digits.
Final is at N 40° 0.LAT W 076° 25.LONG
At the final's location, you will be close to a road that can be surprisingly busy. I would keep children and pets in your vehicle parked across the street from groundzero. There was also some poison ivy that you do not need to touch. The container is supposed to be on top of the black tube and mostly covered by a rock. You should be able to see the rock.
