This cemetery is located on land settled by Miles F Cole in 1838. A Fred Hatch is buried here. An agriculture genius, Mr Hatch built the first silo to store corn in 1873. He also recognized the importance of crop rotation, especially planting alfalfa in corn fields to replacce the nitrogen corn depleted. This family cemetery is still in use today.
