The PT-Electric was my very first electric powered airplane that i got in 2003. This is a trainer type plane with its high wing and long wingspan. This is a plane to learn how to fly with its slow and easy flight. It gives you time to think and react and enjoy the thrill of flying.
These sometimes small and light planes are often called "Park Flyers". Made of balsa or foam and having a electric motor, they are relatively quieter, weigh less and are able to fly in a smaller area like some neighborhood parks, without irritating nearby residents. The best times to fly are in the early mornings when the winds are calm or slightly blowing with perhaps little or no muggles.

Park Hours: 6:30am - 10pm
This is a huge park with several soccer fields, several baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, a Olympic sized swimming pool and a archery range.
I flew a few times from this MP-1 field. It was closer to the parking area but this field is a little narrow and there are big trees on the East side, that sometimes will cause some wind turbulence. Plus more muggles like to use this field because it is closer to the parking lot and restrooms. Surprisingly in this park on the Ewa side no model plane flying is allowed while on the Diamond Head side it is allowed. You just have to read the signs to see where it is allowed.
