Table grapes are those that you can eat fresh or bake, while wine grapes are meant for fermenting into wine. Did you know that 71% of the grapes grown in the world are for the production of wine? The 2.5 acres of grapes here are used for the production of wine. We have 4 types of grapes grown here. deChaunac (red), Marechal Foch (red), Vignoles (white), & Seyval Blanc (white)
Grapes appear in many colors. White, red, black, blue, green, purple and golden.
Grapes are botanically classified as berries.
The grape growing industry is the largest food based industry in the world.
On average one acre of grapes can produce around 15,000 glasses of wine.
This vineyard is used for Agricultural use only.
