Sir Tristan –

Another favorite of mine, he is the star-crossed lover of Isolde, daughter of a King and betrothed to Tristan’s uncle, the king of Cornwall.  The pair drink a love potion during the journey home, without recognizing it for what it is, and live a life of challenge and secrecy because of their love.  He is a doomed, hopeless, romantic musician – who could not love him!
