Geocache Description:


Sir Perceval –

We end with this good man or two reasons.  First, in the original Grail story, he finds the sacred cup.  Second, he is the knight that returns Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake after Arthur’s death, ending Arthur’s story. He had been raised in the wild by his widowed mother before leaving her to prove his worth and join the Table.  He is the father of the ‘Knight of the Swan’ in one tale and a virgin his whole life in others.  It is he and Sir Bors that accompany Sir Galahad on the adventure that finds the Grail.  More about that to follow.
