Otford Station
Line: SCO - Illawarra line
Opened: 3 October 1888
Otford Railway Station is located on the Illawarra line. It serves the village of Otford and was opened on 3 October 1888. Two refuge sidings existed north of the station until removed in the 1980s. Otford Station is the gateway to the Coast Track, a 27km walking track, which starts on the eastern side of the railway line and continues all the way to Bundeena in the north. Otford is also known for its abandoned railway tunnel, but easier access to the tunnel is from the Stanwell Park entrance these days.
The cache: There is no need to enter private property. The cache is on public land between the railway fencing and the road.
