This area is tucked in the middle of nowhere, and it really escapes notice from most people who drive by. It is a beautiful facility, not quite as extravagant as the Field of Dreams made famous by the movie, but impressive nonetheless. Small towns in the midwest almost always have their own version of a "field of dreams" - where young boys and girls develop their skills and learn to love the game of baseball. It's what made the sport America's Pasttime - and I hope it continues to be magical for kids for many years to come.
The area may be busy on summer nights - but most of the time the park is empty.
