A nice place to take photos on the Lion's Trail. The trailhead is in Cayoosh Creek Park, down at the boat launch.

Sturgeon are the dinosaurs of the the river. They are a cache and release fish and you must obtain a Sturgeon license to fish for them. If you go up to the Old Bridge know there is a fourteen footer in there that has been tagged and is being tracked. Doesn't that make you want to go for a swim? If you watch the water from the cache site you will on most days see little four and five footers rolling in the water. The eight inch ones are rather cute.
People come from all over the world to stand on this beach and attempt to land a big one. For you just a small canister with a logbook may be found.
