Resegone - Cappelletta Beata Vergine
Il Resegone (Resegun in dialetto lecchese, Resegù in dialetto bergamasco), detto anche Monte Serrada, è una montagna delle Prealpi Orobie alta 1875 m s.l.m., situata al confine tra la provincia di Bergamo e la provincia di Lecco.
Il nome prende origine dal suo celebre profilo e dall'italianizzazione del termine lombardo resegón (grande sega), dato che, soprattutto se osservate dalla città di Lecco e dalla Brianza, le sue nove punte principali ricordano proprio la lama di una sega. Il suo secondo nome Serrada può significare che chiude (serra) le valli circostanti ma potrebbe derivare pure dallo spagnolo (segata si traduce aserrada e gli spagnoli dominarono qui per quasi 2 secoli).
Le cime più rilevanti del Resegone sono: Punta Cermenati, Punta Stoppani, Punta Manzoni, il Dente, Cima Pozzi, Pizzo Daina e la Torre di Valnegra.
La cappelletta segnalata è un piccolo gioiellino che potrete trovare a pochi metri da un piccolo borgo di Montagna (Frazione Costa) che vale una sosta e diverse foto.
Ci sono più punti panoramici facili da raggiungere e molto sicuri se avete bambini o cani. Attenzione solo agli orari delle Sante Messe.

Resegone - Blessed Virgin Chapel
Il Resegone (Resegun in the dialect of Lecco, Resegù in the Bergamo dialect), also called Monte Serrada, is a mountain of the Orobie Prealps 1875 m above sea level, located on the border between the province of Bergamo and the province of Lecco.
The name derives from its famous profile and the Italianization of the Lombard word resegón (big saw), given that, especially if viewed from the city of Lecco and Brianza, its nine main points recall the very blade of a saw. Its second name Serrada can mean that it closes (greenhouse) the surrounding valleys but it could also derive from the Spanish (sawed saw aserrada and the Spaniards dominated here for almost 2 centuries).
The most important peaks of the Resegone are: Punta Cermenati, Punta Stoppani, Punta Manzoni, the Dente, Cima Pozzi, Pizzo Daina and the Torre di Valnegra.
The small chapel is a small gem that you can find a few meters from a small village of Montagna (Frazione Costa) that is worth a stop and several photos.
There are more scenic spots that are easy to reach and very safe if you have children or dogs. Attention only to the Holy Masses times.
