Geocache Description:

As you stare at the pillow lava, know that this does not really tell you of their true form. They are actually worm-like in shape: lava flowing under the sea 2,722,000,000 years ago. As the hot lava came in contact with the cold sea water, their outer skins of rock glass shattered from the thermal shock forming the small chips you see between the pillows which is called hyaloclastic breccia.
