Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the posted coordinates!

Birds of all shapes and sizes like to visit Skyview Lake and the surrounding arboretum.  They like to hang out, swim in the lake, and forage for food.  In the fall, large flocks of geese make their way here from the north to winter over.  In the spring, they get the flock outta here and follow the Northern Star back home.

You are now the lead bird and it's time to get your flock outta here!  Follow your GPSr to the posted coordinates.  This is your starting point.  From there, use the clues below to lead your flock to the "Star".

Begin your flight by heading roughly north to the Legacy Maple.  To get there, you will soar up the jetty and through the three towers.  As you continue north, you will pass by the Northern Red Oak, Autumn Blaze Pear, and Amur Maple.  Upon reaching the Legacy, follow the cement trail west to the Fruitless Weeping Mulberry.  At the Mulberry, the trail splits in three directions.  Set your sights on the little trail bridge and soar in that direction.  Cross the bridge and continue south.  Eventually, the cement trail will curve to the southeast.  After you round the curve, you will come to a fork in the trail.  Take the right fork and continue south.  When you reach the Shumard Oak, you will leave the cement trail and head out over the grass once again.  Fly around until you spot the Northwood Maple.  It is there that your prize awaits . . .

The cache is a unique container that shouldn't be too hard for a geocacher to spot.  The cache contains a log and a stamp.  Please DO NOT take the stamp from the cache.

Good luck and enjoy your flight!
