This cache has been placed in memory of Emily Hayward, a courageous lady who inspired the world though her determination, strength and amazing attitude when faced with stage 4 melanoma at the age of just 24. Emily passed away in June 2018 having fought the disease since being diagnosed at 17 years of age. She documented her struggle with videos she posted online and these videos have inspired so many people. Before she died we promised to set a cache in her memory so, Emily, this one's for you.

The cache is placed on the side of Rueval, Benbecula's only significant hill. Getting this cache can be combined with getting Scafferj's excellent Rueval cache (GC6GBQ0). You are seeking a big black container with a screw top inside a waterproof bag. It is hidden amongst stones. Please remove the lid from the container carefully, leaving the base within its hiding place. Take time to understand how the waterproof bag works. Once you have signed the log, please replace the lid, close the bag and replace the covering stones exactly as you found them.
The location was found when searching for Prince Charlie's Cave which is supposed to be on the side of the hill. The best we could find was a large overhang (pictured above), so if anyone knows if that is the correct location (or knows the correct location) please let us know.
