Geocache Description:

A great one for the kids, this location is a nice place to sit after a hike through the woods on a sunny day, to read and maybe take a book home (you can bring one to exchange if you like!) in a quiet, pretty neighborhood. Our BookBot, Radley, and all of his contents are maintained by a friendly fairy named Libretta, who lives in our Magic Maple Tree.

(A note to our visitors about the "Face in the Tree..." this is not Libretta. You are unlikely to ever see Libretta in her true form, although you may see her as a friendly bumblebee, chipmunk, songbird...you'll never really know! The face is our maple dryad, Siropi...she and Libretta get up to some crazy shenanigans when nobody is looking!)

BookCrossing, leaving painted rocks and hunting for 4 leaf clovers are all encouraged. Please keep off the rock garden, as they are rather sharp!

IMPORTANT: We hate to harp on this, but please study the contents before you take anything out to see EXACTLY how everything is stacked and assembled. Unfortunately if things aren't stacked just so (parallel against the side wall) and the hiding place is not closed correctly, it forces the book box open as well, and with all the rain we've had a lot of water get in there and had to throw away some books. As such, this cache is NOT recommended during rainy or snowy weather. Also, if you decide to look through the book box (which we encourage!), please make sure all books are stacked back as neatly as possible toward the back of the box...books left floating around in front of the box are far more likely to get wet and ruined if the box isn't closed correctly. Letterboxers, please place ALL letterboxing contents back in the ziplock bag and at the bottom of the stack as found. Thanks so much for your help and consideration! :-)
