My first geocache find was a series about monsters that were trying to destroy the earth. I lead me to Northeast Park to finish the rest of the series. This has been a good park to hike the trails and find caches. I hadn't been out here very much since the early days except for a new series that a local legendary horror writer has put out. Its time to get back onto trails out here.
The lower gate to the canoe access was open on the day that I placed this one. It will make the hike a little easier if it is. Plus the water level on the rock crossing was very low too. I have placed the difficulty a little higher due to the fact that the gate may not be open at all times. Since you are out in the woods, please be advised that slithery animals, itchy plants and bothersome mosquitos may be about. It is after all their domain. I did see a deer run away as I was hiking out here. You are looking for a camoed pill bottle.
