Crich STaGs - That's Crich Stand, Trams and Geocaches, a series of caches in the area near The Sherwood Foresters Regiment Memorial (Crich Stand).
*Warning* From Brock the 'official' path heads down to the rusty gate then south to the hedges and through a squeeze stile and around a field. BUT, on a couple of trips that field was full of 40+ cows so I'd suggest not going through the stile if you're nervous but follow the hedge South-West along the edge of the big field to this cache instead, thus avoiding the Mad Cows for which the cache is named. Or simply go back up through the cemetery and cut across on another path.
This cache is very close to a field which often contains cows but while they may be able to get close enough to watch you while you hunt for the cache they will be behind barbed wire and you will be safe. The cache has nothing to do with cows.
