Nestled in the Redwood covered Santa Cruz foothills. At the right time of most days you’re sure to realize the meaning behind the caches title what with it being between an athletic field, child daycamp, and family housing.
Near the community of Mt. Hermon there are numerous opportunities for Biking, Hiking, Camping, and Geocaching (though none will be as easy as this one). Historical center is nearby as is the Mt. Hermon Millstone. I’m getting back into Geocaching after a fairly long absence. My family and I spent many enjoyable weeks attending Mt. Hermon family camps and so this cache triggers much nostalgia for me and I Hope will for others as well.
Original cache contains a few knickknacks, logbook, pen. FTF gets a Wheres George dollar (Google it). Consider registering with Wheresgeorge.com (its easy, fun, and free) and leave your own dollar. Its close parking and to main thoroughfare so lots of muggles around. Use discretion and please cover the cache w/bark or natural debris when you replace it.
