LadyH: Sadly the host is not in pristine shape anymore. The custom paint job has faded in some places and there are cracks that bugs have been able to use to enter the host.

SO it is time to archive.

This cache was originally placed for the First State Challenge 2018 sponsored by Delaware Geocaching!

The challenge is over but the cache can still be be found.

FSC-2018 - Education

Cache Details:

UV Light Required for Gadget Stage#1

The cache is at the listed coords but there are 2 gadget stages that must be completed to access the logbook.

Gadget Stage#1: "Higher Education" and a UV light will reveal the combination to the lock. The combination lock MUST be opened BEFORE you can use Gadget #2 to access the logbook.

Note: The yellow-green protective cover (shown above) must be removed from the lock prior to opening the lock.

Gadget Stage#2: Something you learned in Kindergarten will allow you to open the door and gain access to the logbook.
- The Special Tool for this stage is provided but you must find it.
- Once you find the special tool, ensure the cache door is completely closed then use the tool to release the lock mechanism. Remember both doors and windows can be locked.
- Listen carefully and you may hear the lock mechanism release.........then pull cache door open.
NO force is required to open the cache door.

IMMEDIATELY after opening the door PLACE the provided tool you used BACK where you found it!!!!
This will keep you from locking the tool inside the cache!

Please return the cache to the condition in which you found it, so that others may enjoy the same fun that you had in opening it.

Please place the yellow-green protective cover back on the lock before leaving!

Your caching name must be in the logbook to get credit for finding the cache.

Description:
This winery was one of the locations for the Delaware Geotrail (DGT) when it was known as Fenwick Island Cellars located in Fenwick Delaware.
Salted Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery's new home in Frankford Delaware is now home to an FSC-2018 cache.

There is a small cemetery on the property dating back to the 1700's. Research has not yet yielded the identities of any living relatives.
