Placed in view of the Black Hills National Cemetery nicknamed the "Arlington of the Black Hills", by the Chapel. This Chapel was erected in 1968 by Veterans of Foreign Wars and remains today as a beautiful well maintained park and recreation area.
Parking available and just a bit beyond the maintained area, winter time my be a bit harder as the park area is gated. Cache is located beyond immediate Chapel out of respect. There are several small trails located off the maintained picnic area which may be used to access the Fort Meade Recreation Land.
This is our first geocache placed. We wanted to make it easy for the grandkids to check back on.
