Morfee Paddle Series - Geocaching Adventure Extraordinaire!
Morfee lake is nestled right in the heart of Mackenzie BC. Only 5 minutes away from down town, this is the perfect place for family's to get out and enjoy nature.
There is a well maintained beach for the kids to play and swim as well as a designated dog beach by the boat launch. There are 2 sides to Morfee lake, the north side is for bigger motor boats and the south is for swimming and paddle boats. The city of Mackenzie has been busy in this area revitalizing the trail system around the lake. This is a great location to come out and spend the day on the water and caching the trails near by.
Morfee Paddle is a series of caches placed along the shoe line of Morfee lake. All caches in this series are accessible by boat in summer and when the lake is frozen in the winter. it is not recommended to attempt these caches from the nearby trail as you may find yourself getting quite wet!
