Was recently up in this area on a road trip for 3 days of geocaching and exploring !
I really enjoyed my time at Onerahi,,,,had a lovely self contained airbnb ...and the time went by way too quickly .!
Keen to go back soon .
Anyway , this gorgeous and peaceful Rest Area really caught my eye . Have no idea why there is no cache here .
There is a beautiful outlook ; seats ; 2 kind of standing stones ...an unusual feature in the water you can get to by walking on the groynes
And what looks like a pool surrounded by rocks ...but I notced it was empty even at full tide .
Plus plenty of trees and grass . And boats to admire .....
Oh and a random Pile of Rocks with a Rusty Relic there for good measure ! ( cache not on the relic )
Please ensure cache is covered by rocks after you return to hiding place .
(dont want it getting muggled! )
